This program includes Godard’s planned film, Le Silence de la terre, which was informed by his luminous 2004 Sarajevo-set feature Notre musique. It also includes the stunning short film Je vous salue, Sarajevo (Hail Sarajevo, 1993) that Godard made in protest at the refusal of European governments to take action over the siege of Sarajevo.
