In her luminous directorial debut, writer-director Paula González-Nasser, who spent six years working as a movie location scout, draws us into a day in the life of a young scout tasked with finding the perfect interiors for a New York television pilot set in New York. Sofía (Mimi Davila) moves in and out of other people’s intimate spaces and private lives, adjusting her personality at each potential location to connect with the owner, while struggling to balance her professional and personal worlds.
