Dashing legionnaire Rick O’Connell (Brendan Fraser) stumbles upon the hidden ruins of Hamunaptra while in the midst of a battle to claim the area in 1920s Egypt. When the proof of Hamunaptra ends up in the hands of aspiring Egyptologist Evelyn Carnahan (Rachel Weisz) and her kinda slimy brother Jonathan (John Hannah), the three must escape the revenge of the risen Imhotep while trying to secure their own treasure.
