Bay Area pianist Steven Chanan has been a sought-after accompanist and party pianist for decades and we are proud to host his long-awaited return to the solo piano stage after a 23-year absence. The program will feature works by the jazz/classical hybrid composer Nikolai Kapustin, rags by Scott Joplin and William Bolcom, and classical favorites by Bach, Chopin, Debussy and others, culminating with George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
