Inspired by Shelburne Museum’s quilt collection, participants will explore the visual language of quilts through grid, repeated shapes, color, pattern, symmetry, and composition. Associate Conservator Awyn Rileybird will begin with a brief introduction to log cabin quilts and then guide participants in cutting, arranging, and layering decorative fine art papers to create their own log cabin quilt-inspired square.
