20-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Solya has been making music since she was just four years old, drawing inspiration from legends like Harry Nilsson and David Bowie, as well as the desolate West Texas landscape she calls home. Her debut album Queen of Texas explores themes that range from chaotic love to the isolating experience of being a queer young woman growing up in a small, conservative place.
