The Boyd Parker Ambush has its roots in Livingston County and draws heavily from legendary singer-songwriter John Prine. Led by two guitar-wielding lead vocalists Jeff Sherner and Nick Cory Young, the group returns to Abilene to honor and pay tribute to an artist often referred to as "the Mark Twain of songwriting" with songs from throughout Prine's almost 50 year career.
