This short three-movement symphony by Antonio Sarrier has a style similar to Joseph Haydn’s first symphonies, featuring a joyous Allegro, a lyrical Andante, and a Fugue finale. The work was a discovery of Mexican composer Miguel Bernal Jiménez, who located the score in the musical archive of the College of Santa Rosa de Santa Mádria.
