In this body of work, multidisciplinary artist Shakun Maheshwari explores how the folk and tribal arts of India reflect everyday living, values, and a spiritual connection to nature. The traditions she employs include those she’s practiced since childhood, as well as others she learned through research and study under master practitioners.
