Paul Thorn and his band have “wowed” enthusiastic crowds whenever
they have played in the Savannah area in the past. They quickly sold out
their last show at the Tybee Post Theater in 2025, and we expect this
one will sell out quickly too. Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, raised among
the same spirits (and some of the actual people) who nurtured the
young Elvis generations before, Paul Thorn battled four-time world
champion boxer Roberto Duran on national television and has
performed on stages with Bonnie Raitt, Mark Knopfler, Sting and John
Prine among many others. He has also appeared on major television
shows, numerous National Public Radio features and charted multiple
times on the Billboard Top 100 and Americana Radio Charts. Paul’s
music is a mixture of southern rock, blues and americana with a little
bit of gospel mixed in. His fans say that once you attend a Paul Thorn
show you will become a fan for life.
