In this introductory workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of handmade papermaking using traditional mold-and-deckle techniques while transforming recycled paper into beautiful new sheets. Through layering, color, texture, and collage, we will explore how discarded materials can become unique surfaces for future drawing, painting, or sculpture.
