As part of Open House New York, the public is invited to step inside the historic cottage at Fort Tryon Park for a rare opportunity to explore one of the park’s original structures. Built as the gatehouse for the early 20th-century Billings Estate, the cottage now serves as the offices for NYC Parks and the Fort Tryon Park Conservancy.
