Nature Once Removed is Heide Fasnacht's first solo exhibition with the gallery, bringing together a new body of photo-based paintings built from archival photographs, digital manipulation, printed imagery, and hand-painted passages in acrylic. The exhibition grows from Fasnacht's long engagement with damaged archival photographs, where landscapes accumulate in geological layers and memory unfolds through material.
