Madre Cumbia is a historic collaboration between Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto, Fruko, and Carmelo Torres that brings together the living roots of Colombian cumbia with the artists who have carried, transformed, and preserved its legacy across generations. The performance celebrates the full arc of cumbia's evolution, from ancestral sounds of the gaitas and drums to the accordion of the sabanas and the electric bass.
