Madre Cumbia is a historic collaboration between Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto, Fruko, and Carmelo Torres that brings together the living roots of Colombian cumbia with the artists who have carried, transformed, and preserved its legacy across generations. This gathering embodies nearly every chapter of cumbia's recorded history, from its ceremonial Afro-Indigenous origins and rural accordion traditions to its electrification and international expansion.
