La Gran Esperanza is a short, immersive opera presented at the Blaffer Art Museum. Centered on finding hope and determination in the face of adversity, the work follows three Hispanic childhood friends whose lives are shaped by the support and success that grows from unwavering resolve and one boy’s dreams of baseball.
