For 50 years, San Francisco’s Kronos Quartet—currently comprising violinists David Harrington and Gabriela Díaz, violist Ayane Kozasa, and cellist Paul Wiancko—has challenged and reimagined what a string quartet can be. The quartet has become one of the most celebrated and influential groups of the era, having performed thousands of concerts worldwide and released more than 70 recordings.
