After assassin Martin Blank has trouble focusing on his work, resulting in a failed assignment, he returns to his hometown of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, for his 10-year high school reunion. There he reconnects with Debi, his ex-girlfriend whom he jilted on prom night. Smart, funny, and sporting a fantastic soundtrack, Grosse Pointe Blank is among John Cusack's finest comedies.
