We will start with the basics of sculpting with glass, both on a mandrel (with soft glass) and off-mandrel (with borosilicate glass), focusing on heat control, layering colors, using specialized shaping tools, and creating texture. Throughout the course, students will learn how to create animal print and patterns using hand-pulled cane and twisted stringers.
