Directed by Angele Diabang, So Long a Letter follows Ramatoulaye, a 50-year-old teacher whose life is upended when her husband of 25 years takes a second wife. The film depicts her struggle between tradition and modernity as she undergoes a descent into hell and subsequent reconstruction.
