Two hapless gym employees (Frances McDormand and Brad Pitt) find a computer disc containing a CIA agent's memoir and, mistaking it for statecraft secrets, decide to blackmail him to pay for plastic surgery. New to the world of espionage, the two continue to bumble just about everything, including their attempts to cash in with Russian operatives.
