The Pamoja Project is Marques Carroll’s latest group to come out of Chicago, focusing on bringing a more electric, hip-hop, funk/neo soul infused mix to his writing and exploration. The group's name is based on the Swahili word for 'togetherness,' representing a guiding principle of building a community of young 'agents of change' to focus on collaboration.
